In September 1997, Tinie and I were 29 and 31 years old, respectively, when Anton and Jonna Bonde introduced us to Nu Skin. I was so inspired that I immediately did my due diligence. I used the products, investigated the company and went to convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. I did what needed to be done in order to be sure that I was doing the right thing. 

When Nu Skin opened up in Denmark in September 1998, we had achieved Lapis executives. Just a handful of months later, in February 1999, I quit my job as an Insurance Sales Executive where I was selling pension savings for employees in Danish companies.

What I understood is that the products had real benefits that created satisfied loyal consumers. To me, this meant that even if someone was not interested in building a business, they would certainly love the products and become one of my consumers. 

Tinie and I worked 12 hours a week when we started. Our week looked something like this: Every day we would spend about one hour inviting people and following up with people. Every Tuesday night, we conducted a 2 hour business presentation. Each Saturday morning, we conducted a 2 hour business training. And, every Sunday morning, we held a 2 hour product training.

When I began this business full time, I really worked full time! I was totally convinced that this was the best opportunity I had seen in my life. I held many meetings because the only thing I could do was present the business to people and inspire them to do their own due diligence. As we were building our business, we had the support of our up-line, GPN members Anton and Jonna Bonde, Carleric and Ingela Lindstrom, and John and Giselle Sexsmith. At regular intervals they would conduct trainings which showed us all the big picture of the business and inspired us to really work.

After 3 years and 6 months of working full time, Tinie and I became Blue Diamonds. Then we took some time off to spend with our family. Together, we had two more children, bought a new house, and so on. We created the life that we had originally set out to build.

Then 18 months ago, I was again inspired by Anton Bonde. He showed us the wonderful results produced by the Galvanic Spa and the powerful stories connected with that product and we are now Team Elite! But for us, this is just the beginning!!! For the people that will take the time to do what it takes in order to make a confident decision about whether they are going to build this business, there is an incredible future in front of them. Our best product continues to be the opportunity. 

To live a life with a recurring income is fantastic – I really didn’t believe it until I lived it.
